A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Explore the island, meet the inhabitants, leave your mark.

Created in 2 months for a school philosophy class assignment (never doing this again ;-;)

Improvements in the pipeline, still ironing out bugs with godots latest engine update. Some annoying persistent crashes on transition to area 2.

Install instructions

Download the exe file for your operating system.

Please note that due to an as of yet unfixed bug the game will likely crash if the exe is in a folder that is too many layers down. So to avoid that I recommend running it off of the desktop in the meantime.

[SPOILERS]

The atmosphere is great and the controls are nice and fluid. The fisherman knowing my name genuinely startled me, I loved it! I tried to enter the condemned cave a couple of times, each time the game crashes and takes me back to the Main Menu.

Oh no! Was this when you were running the game through the browser or from the exe? Browser version is a tad broken right now and the exe has this weird issue I'm still figuring out where the game crashes when going through the cave if you aren't running the exe from the desktop. Glad you enjoy it otherwise!

I was running the exe. Not sure if there's any gameplay data I can send to help with that?

I don't believe there is... I'll look into it on my end, as you're not the only person having that issue. In the meantime if you want to see whats past the cave, I believe the V4 version of the game should be working

Your game starts at 07:01. Great work! The characters were the best part of the experience and our only complaint was we wanted more of them to interact with. The fourth wall break was a good way to set the tone for the whole game. Having the trash to pick up was fun side mission. Having the memory bubbles visible instead of the text just popping up made listening optional which was appreciated. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the hilarious video and great feedback! I'm so glad you liked the characters, I plan to add more at a future date, unfortunately had to rush the game out since I was submitting it as part of a Uni assignment for my philosophy class. Sorry I doxxed you as well lmao
